IBMG shortlisted for a BMF training award for the second year

We are delighted to have been shortlisted for the BMF Training Company of the Year 2024, an award we were proud to have won last year!

The Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) have announced their shortlist of companies to receive this training award, where we sit beside other great names Haldane Fisher, Harlow Timber Group, Howarth Timber and Builders Merchants, LBS Builders Merchants and MGM Timber, who have all been recognised for their commitment to the development of their teams.

The nominees were chosen by the Regional Managers from the BMF themselves, who work alongside us to ensure we are offering great support to all teams across the IBMG business, using dedicated BMF training.

IBMG have been shortlisted for this award due to our continued work on a new Management Development Programme for senior managers and potential managers, where bespoke courses have been developed with BMF trainers to support this initiative. These courses can then be implemented throughout the entire business at all levels and supports our commitment to developing and engaging the people of IBMG. This is strengthened further with the commitment to recruiting and developing apprentices, with a pledge to recruit 200 apprentices by 2030.

The winner will be announced on 19th September at the BMF Members’ Day Awards Dinner.
